Today I had George, James and Terrell from Waco and Hamilton out on somerville for some catfish. Lake is rising at an alarming rate, over 5' when we left at daylight and rose 1/2' by 11 when we headed in. Bite was a little tough today with all the freshwater coming in. They managed to boat 30 cats up to 5lb with most in the 2-3lb range. Birch Creek State Park looked like a deserted ghost town when we got back with the fish cleaning station chained shut. All caught on CJ'S crawfish and Hopper bait under corks in 3-6fow really close to some camp sites lol. It's really that high!!!

Thanks for sharing. The lake continues to rise, and rise, and rise.
