Went down to the park this morning to fish in one of the grassy picnic areas since the river is flooded (Guadalupe). For me, I had a good day landing 3 (for me 4 is an outstanding day fishing the river). Anyway, got a 2#, 4# 11oz and a 4# 15oz. The 4'11 was fat so when cleaning I decided to see what it had been feeding on. She was full of eggs, fat with eggs. Looks like the spawn will be soon. 
My personal best is still swimming out there just getting bigger. One of these days I will quit feeding it.

Thank you all. I see where it says the river has dropped 5' since yesterday, maybe this afternoon I can go find my leaders n hooks I snagged on brush and a lot of other peoples too 
My personal best is still swimming out there just getting bigger. One of these days I will quit feeding it.
