A buddy and I spent about 6 hours at Oak Grove Park on Grapevine this morning and didn't catch anything but a sandbass. It was our first time at the lake and we were by sandbass point. Good luck to you though wherever you decide to go!
Thanks, Olen

At this point I will try Lewisville next, lol. Been to Grapevine 3 times in the past 11 days and have struggled every time. Managed 8 "keeper" channel cats and 1 small blue. Most were caught in 7-8 ft but I tried shallow, 3-4 ft, last Sat with only 2 small keepers for my efforts. Those both came on Secret 7, the others came on fresh shad. I will say the shad are easy to catch right now, lots of threadfins up shallow early in the mornings.
