What has happed to you does not define who you are-
HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

Thanks guys! And tom thanks for your help. Here's the back story. I decided I was going to unwind a little this evening. So I went out to the pond on post I was at last time, when it was raining. It was dead calm when I got there. A group of guys was there when I pulled up. They were attempting to fish, at best. These guys knew you had to wet a line, and that was about it. They were asking me all kinds of questions about fishing. And I was doing my best to answer them. All of a sudden the wind started howling in to our face. I grinned and said,"they are about to start biteing". After that one of my rods got slammed, and I mean hard. Screeming drag, and the tip trying to touch the water. They were absolutly shocked. I started reeling him in, and he didn't like that at all. Pulled more drag running left then right. At one point he got about 2 foot of air in a head shaking jump. I was kind of confused as first, thinking I had a large LMB, but on chicken liver? I got him to the bank and was like, sweet. Those guys were like the poperatzi snapping pictures. I weight him and was dead nutz 4.5lbs. Threw him in the cooler, rebaited, and went back to waiting. Those guys started asking me about my tackle, rigs, and bait. I told them, but also made it perfictly apperant that its not the gear that catches fish, its fishing where the fish are at. I plugged the ttf more times than I can count. Now they are going to acedmey to get them some rods and reels and tackle like what I have and are going directly to that pond to fish. Might I add that they now think catfish and cat fishing is way more fun than bass fishing! That was the only fish of the night. And being a good sports man, I let them take the fish home to eat. One of the guys talked me threw cleaning a cat fish. So I feel they aren't going to royalty destroy the fish trying to process it.
