How good is this bait? Is there a bait that someone would recommend over secret 7?

2 weeks ago, I bank fished with three rods. I had S7 on two of them, and Danny Kings on one. Just about all the fish came on the Danny Kings. Then I went out yesterday, and I caught equal quantities on Sure Shot and Secret 7. It just seems to depend on the day.
It all smells like hell to me. S7 is my least favorite to use, just because of its consistency, and its impossible to get off clothes/carpet/you.... Still, it catches fish, so I use it. I'm just in search of a way of not coming home smelling like the devils armpit..... (no luck so far, with of course, the exception of fresh shad).

I use Lewis Kings punch bait and like it a lot. I catch a lot of nice fish on it.

Mr. Whiskers Cheese punch bait works very well. It has some cattails in it so it stays on the hook and actually hard to get off once you start using it all you need to do is re-stink every once in awhile.

We put 50 channel cats in the boat on Friday using Secret 7. Saturday we had about 60 using both Secret 7 and some punch bait I brought along as well. Secret 7 is very sticky, but does catch fish.

I know the creator of Mr. Whiskers. And he is teaching me all he can. I have used about every type bait there is in my 52yrs. Mr. Whiskers has caught more fish than any I have tried. Granted i am a novice. But have gone with him as a friend not a client. He uses Mr. Whiskers exclusivly and cathes 30- 100 fish a day on Tawakony(SP) Going to take a trip with him or follow him one day just to learn. But his bait works and is made in a small barn just down the road from my home. Seeing it made is amazing also. Anyway for me Mr. Whiskers catches fish. Mr. Whiskers Guide serv on Tawakoni look him up.

There are a lot of really good catifsh baits on the market, SECRET 7 is one of them.
Manufactured bait like Secret 7 is like anything any other bait.....The more you know about it, the more cats you will catch.
We have some videos at TeamCatfish.com that show how to use it. We do these videos because we want anglers to have the very best chance at catching catfish with all our products including the Secret 7.
Which ever bait you choose to try, give it a good shot. Don't get discouraged on your first time out if things don't go your way......Lots of folks have struck out with shad/worms/livers/shrimp/etc. from day to day including me!

i am going to cedar creek tomorrow and am hoping to try my secret 7. my friend uses sure shot and it works, but we are gonna try secret 7 and hopefully we can use both. you never know when that one extra fish will win for you. the more options you have the better your chance of catching fish when they get picky.
REDNECK, and proud of it.

I've had good luck on Big Marv's and Danny Kings. I have not tried Secret Seven yet but intend to give it a try. Good fishing. EJW
