First day of winter and the lake was on fire. First line went in the water at 3PM and we were off by 5:30.

I took advantage of the warm snap and targeted shallow fish. First fish of the day was a 12.6, fourth fish was a 14.8, an 8 in the mix, some 4s, 5s, a 6....

Fished 4 different spots (2 too many), and caught fish from 2 - 12 ft with the boat anchored. The 12 was in 2 and the 14 came out of 10 ft.

The north Wind today might change it all up, but they were on fire yesterday.

All fish were released to fight another day.
