 Lake belton thermocline

I was thinking about fishing Lake Belton at the end of the month while I'm in town for the start of dove season. Is there a thermocline on the lake. I will probably be fishing with rod and reel and maybe running some jug lines. Anyone having any luck or any updates for catfishing on the lake. Any advice is appreciated.

Yes thermocline is at 40 to 35 foot depending where your at on the lake .the upper part 36 bridge area holding nicer blues and channel's . more shad toooo . juggings been pretty hot at night , about 1 hour till dark . check out my last video I posted on you tube ( belton lake fishing , Steve Webb ) we caught a 50 , 40 , 3 25lbers and a handfull of small one) good luck Sand Fly.
