Would someone be kind enough to give me some pointers on Grapevine for finding blues or channel?

Bought some maps and tried some recommended spots without much luck. Wanting to show my boys how to catch em but obviously need some help.

Fish are scattered. I get some range cubes or dog food and bait a few spots and give it 2-3 hrs then try it....

Drifting works well this time of year when you have have wind.
