Didn't find much under 12 ft along with over 30 but they seem to like 15 to 25 ft. Seems like this high pressure has them buried up in the mud and Carolina rig was good today.
Caught several dinks with several 6/8 lbs.
Kept a few for supper.

Nice fish there. That high pressure has us catching right on the bottom in about 12' of water here in Central Texas also.
