I'm primarily a bass fisherman but would like to put some cat fillets in the freezer. Heading out tomorrow morning and plan on dropping some jug lines before I head out bass fishing. Anyone have any tips on what i should look for? Depth and slope etc? Any help is much appreciated, Thanks y'all!

If your lake is like ours and flooded, I would hit the coves close to the flooded grass. We've been tying up double hook throw lines to the flooded willows and doing good.

I went fishing a day a couple of weeks ago at lake Fork. The wind was blowing out of the north. Then suddenly the wind started blowing from the east. With that wind shift the fish started biting on a wind blown weed bed in about 2 feet of water.

Rocks, find the rock rip rap and fish it. They will be there spawning for the next month, and will bite just about any bait put in front of them.
