Looking to take my wife catfishing at Alan Henry. Is it worth it. Never fished there for cat fish?

I'd think most of the catfish (blues, channels and flatheads) are going to be up in the river right now or anywhere that the water isn't to clear. If you can find shallow water with some good timber or other cover you should do well!

I haven't caught many out there recently, but that's because I kayak fish more times than not and I'm not really to keen on making a one way 6 mile paddle on a short trip lol
