Good luck. You probably need a 4wd to get to the point in the next few days, don't get stuck out there. Lol

Why do I go fishing? To catch a box of fish and/or some quality time under the sun. Thank Heaven I never fail fishing in Texas, catching box fish or plenty of sunburn.

Me and my lady are staying in one of the screened shelters out there. We can walk out to the point if need be. Also taking my kayak.

Fishing is great for box blues. We had 100+ yesterday in a few hours on cut shad. Today was also good. 46ft, thumb

$12 per night + $7 per person. For the 2 of us it will be $26 for Saturday night.

We will be arriving early Saturday morning. The lady I reserved the shelter with said if no one is in the shelter Friday night, we can check in as soon as they open at 7.

Got a friend staying in the crows nest at anchor inn this week, they are doing good with trot lines at about 12' deep. Got 51 Wednesday after a 2 hour soak, 70 this morning and another 49 this evening. Biggest fish was around 20 lbs, mostly 3-5 pounders. All blues but for one channel.

All that is out at anchor inn? West side or east side?

Go east, Spazm09, go east, West side is a boat lane, boat slip bridge good shad netting place and crappie shooting, East side is where the actions are for everything else.

Changing winds and light 2-4 pmh from N Friday. Then S and SW on Saturday probably won't help much. Lol. But there's a full moon will rise around midnight Saturday, I'll definitely take advantage of full moon fishing for stripers, hybrids, sandbass and of course blue cats. thumb
