I launch my jonboat from Loyd Park on JP. The ramp is right at the mouth of the creek so you can go up there without ever getting on the main lake. Also there is a lot of timber down in that area so no ski boats and jet skis chopping things up for your. You could also launch from Britton Park, that's way down in the timber but never been that far south in the boat so I don't know much about what's down there.

Thanks Sooner I going to have to check that out, went last night to the Dam of Joe Pool got cold fast....Came up on about 4 cats all small tho...Thanks agian
