Do folks leave their sonars on the boat at all times or do they bring them in? For protection from weather and of course from being stolen?

I'm lucky enough that my boat fits in my garage which is monitored by a camera system, so it stays on the boat, if I have to run in a store for some reason then I take it off and lock it up in my car, it only takes seconds for someone to grab it.

When consider how quick they can be removed and the cost of new electronics, it's a no brainer for me, if I am not in the boat neither are my electronics
