Santee Cooper Rig

fresh cut shad, blue gill, or buffalo

Get onto a windblown bank (wind in your face) The stronger the wind the better.

I'd probably fish fairly shallow.

Fora crash course in great tips look at Steve Douglas on YouTube. Just remember we don't have skip jack in Texas so use big shad.
