Have you guys found any types of sinkers that are less prone to getting hung
on rocky bottoms ? In the 1 to 3 ounce range.

when i use to fish the river for salon and steelhead in the rives in washington state we would use pencil led it cam on a spool I have not seen it here wich is why i think a lot of guys use slinky weights the pencil led you can bounce it along the river bottom you didn't get up up and much to to in being thin and long it came in different weights

This has produced the least amount of hangups out of anything I've ever used, trolling or drifting might be different but this works for bank/anchoring fishing.

Use a three way rig. Slide an egg sinker on the line, one of the cylindral ones like below. Tie on bank sinker to the end of the line. Easy enough!

Absolutely. "Bottom Bouncers" are used up north for a lot of different situations. I use them when drifting on Lake Huron for walleye. They have a wire that keeps the main weight from getting caught.
