So I am taking my boat for a family reunion at Table Rock Lake Missouri in mid September. My uncles enjoy catfishing and I would like to help them catch a few. So, here is what I need to know:

--Do I throw chum or "bait a hole"?
--What type of bait should I use?
--What type of structure or lake contours should I look for?

I know I am asking a lot, but I really appreciate your help.

Brian

I would look and see if I could find a creek/river channel close to a point. Then see if it has fish, abdn if so, bait the hole and chum both. Chum and see if you catch fish. If so, then bait the hole with a towsack with range cubes. Should keep them there for a week or so

Thank you Mr. Whatley. Do I chum with range cubes also?

Also, how close to the point does the creek channel need to be?

Thank you again,

Brian

Correct. Normally the channel will make a bend near a point. Chum and bait the hole with the cubes. How long will you be there? Navionics has maps of most lakes. Take a look online before you go to narrow your search down. Also look at the lake in google maps
