BIG MARV'S BAIT COMPANY
Once again I am having trouble getting money for some bait that I shipped Holiday Marina. They sent me a check for the bait but the check came back with insufficient funds. I have talked to them several times and they assured me they were sending me a money order. After about three weeks of this I am now turning them over to the District Attorney. I have been told that I am not the only person this has happened to.

I HEARD THEY WERE HAVING TROUBLE THE INPLOYES WERE SUPPOST TO OF QUIT ,THAT WHAT I HERD .SORRY YOUR HAVING TROUBLE GETTING MONEY.THAT WHY I DON'T PUT MINE ON CONSINMENT .

Mine is not on consignment, I just asked them to pay me up front because I was having to wait up to six months to get my money. They sent me a bad check.

that is why i dont send bait till i have the funds i have been taken by 2 shops he LA and GA like this and to mention a few members i had to hound to get payment i am sorry you have to go through this if were you I would make the drive up there and pull my stuff and demand cash people dont relize how much it cost to make this stuff and the profit margin is not that big

This might explain why they were so aggressive for cash. At one time, they removed the rocks near the SRA ramp and "build" a car ramp and tried to collect $5 car fee from anyone who drove their vehicles down to fish... hmmm, the rocks were there for a purpose, and their contract with SRA on land stop at the fence I would think, the shore is public land, ??? ....well, someone put back the rocks over "their ramp", hope that would be the end that. Anyway, Big Marv I hope you get your money, if you do probably $5 is my money that they collected illegally because I just want the young man who worked for the marina to drive his truck away so I can fish  Fyi, I actually drove over to the marina and asked the old lady at the marina store about the fee and she confirmed that the marina was collecting those "car parking fee" as far as a quarter mile down the shore.

Why do I go fishing? To catch a box of fish and/or some quality time under the sun. Thank Heaven I never fail fishing in Texas, catching box fish or plenty of sunburn.
