I plan to go to wind point twok either tomorrow or over the Christmas holidays does anyone have any bait suggestions.

yes - catch your bait before going out there (your chances of getting any bait out there are null to void)

stop off at white rock creek or hubbard and load up on as many gizzard shad as possible. use big heads and fillet chunks.

also take wood to burn in the fire pits - really nice to have.

I have never found anyplace that fits "exactly"'
I have always had to hunt for them.
Always a likely spot is boat ramps before daylight-
The creek is never a sure thing-
And if someone DOES have a spot like that I would be surprised if they would post it here-that spot would be worthless in a short time-
Finding bait skillfully is part of the hunt we must learn either by hiring a guide to shorten to curve or by time on the water-
Sorry it's not the most helpful answer for this trip but it is the truth as I know it.

Hey guys, thanks for the tips. I will try out captains cove next time I'm out. I have a great spot for shad in a city pond,but I hate going way out the way and the neighborhood is not good to be there at dark.
