Lake Fork Anglers every other week Thursday daytime tournament for Apr 27 was a bass fest. Man were there some big bags brought in. Mostly caught on square bills, T rigs and C-rigs.

What did not give us a break was the wind.

Boaters:

First Place Angler went to Jim DeVore of AriZona with a 11 fish bag of 20.05 lb anchored by the 7.29 boater lunker.
Second place went to Bob Roberts of Longview with 19 fish coming in at 19.91 with a 5.14 lunker.
Third place went to Jack White of Yantis with a 10 fish at 17.38 lb with the 5.35 lunker.
Fourth place went to Galen Smith of Alba with a 9 fish bag at 16.57 with a 4.73 lunker
Fifth place went to Steve Eldred of Golden with 7 fish bag for 16.25 with a 4.93 lunker.


Co-Anglers

First place went to John Berech of Garlans with a 4 fish bag of 14.34 lb with a 7.56 lunker.
Second place went to Gene Shoemaker of Quitman with a 7 fish bag for 12.79 with a 4.54 lunker.
Third place went to Don Cox of Garland with a 12.27 bag lb on 8 fish and the 8.42 lunker.
Fourth place went to Jackie Price of Alba with 4 fish for 10.00 with a 3.73 lunker.
Fifth place went to Cheryl Allen of Emory with 11 bass for 9.73 with a 3.64 lunker.

168 fish were caught that were keepers.

Dues is $5 a year. Tournaments are $12 with an optional $5 lunker pot and an optional $10 big bag pot.
In 2016 the LFA fished 25 times, You have to fish at least 8 to maintain membership. And you have to fish 8 times to be eligible to fish our other two formats: Major league Fishing (known as Hard Core) and the team format known as Faze 4.
