Results from May 26:

Fore casted bad weather scared off a few members but we still had a good group fishing and most got wet. The bass were cooperating with those that knew the where and how's. Everyone was complaining about all of the really big fish that had jumped off (not me however)

1st place went to Jeff Wilkerson, a co-angler, with a 5 keeper fish at 15.14 pounds anchored a 4.54 lunker
We only count the five largest.
2nd place went to Kenny Moser with 8 fish for 15.00 with a 3.40 lunker .
3rd place went to Don Overstreet with 6 fish for 14.75 pounds and THE 5.14 lunker.
4th place went to Curt Blount with 9 fish for 12.35 and a 3.64 lunker
5th place went to Bob Roberts with 10 fish for 11.58 with a 3.98 lunker.
6th place went to Jack White with 8 fish for 10.91 with a 3.17 lunker..

We paid 5 places and had 28 anglers fishing and caught 96 fish again and lot of them were quality slots.

How are those weights even possible. Because we measure and release, and record on a laminated sheet.

Rick Green broke his 2016 bag weight at 7.89 and lunker at 4.54
Jackie Price broke his 2016 records again
Kenny Moser broke his all time club bag with 15 lb even.
Don Overstreet broke his all time club record bag with 14.75 and lunker with 5.14
Perry Sanders broke his all time club record lunker with 4.34
Mark Talley broke his all time club bag with 6.51
Jeff Wilkerson broke his all time club bag with 15.14
Bruce Woodall broke his all time club bag at 6.78 and lunker at 4.73
Way to goes guys!

The LFA fishes every other Thursday daytime at Lake Fork only. Persons interested in joining or fishing as a guest should e-mail me at sjbasser@aol.com.

Here is your opportunity to fish with friendly knowledgeable Lake Fork anglers for the cost of a $5 annual dues and a $13 entry fee. Slot fish count. No teams. We are currently at below cap and are looking for a some boaters who will also fill in as co-anglers if needed and we will also accept "guests" who generally get to fish when regular members are away.
Actually none of our guests has sat one out as yet.

Sometimes Fork is a big question mark. But even though we don't always slay them a few will find them. This week more than a few slayed them
