So the other day I painted a bait that had so many color layers it turned out almost ugly haha. Well it got me thinking to about getting my butt kicked a few years back on an old bomber white and green backed crank. Well decided I'd go for that simple color. The outcome

Nice work and great colors for just about all conditions. Here's a paint schedule very similar to the one you have pictured. It goes something like this:
-using Createx Airbrush Colors- *Mix opaque yellow with white for the base coat (more white than yellow). *Spray transparent bright yellow from gill to tail staying above the lateral line. *Wrap the blank in scale mesh. Mix blue and yellow for a back color and spray from nose to tail allowing mist over the upper sides. *Mix orange with white (more white than orange) for the throat area. Mist lightly from bill to belly hook. *Mix black with white for the kill dot. Put the dot even with the eye and about the center of the blank. *Lightly mist the entire blank with Silver pearl. *Best looking with gold or red eyes.
The pattern "PeaGreen Shad" is still one of the most productive patterns in the crankbait box.
