Pattern I was working on turned into an epic fail.... soooo....I started messing around with an old DT-10 knock-off normally used for testing colors. Not too bad for just fooling around. No stencils..no mesh..no clear coat..nothing fancy, just transparent colors & basic eyes. Took about 45 minutes start to finish. Thinkin' its some kind of bream or something . Gotta' put a gill tab on it sometime.





Looking to sell all my Createx paint. Nice color selection for anyone who paints lures. All 2oz. bottles some never opened all at least 1/2 full...or half empty...depending on how you look at things ?? PM for details.

It looks great. Do you have a picture of it after you cleared it?

Added gill tabs and some gold glitter to the back. Since this blank was an old "test rat" I haven't decided to epoxy the pattern and fish with it or just wipe it off. Love the way these lures fish but DT blanks are difficult to paint and get "right", so I'm pretty sure this pattern, or some version of it, will go on the list of paint schedules used for sellable work.
