Haven't posted anything in a while so here goes. Recently got a few Sebile Flat Shad and Tail Spin lures from a TFF amigo who wanted them repainted. Lets be honest and call an ugly baby....ugly.....the pattern on these lures was awful... hot pink with yellowish lightning bolts and psychedelic disco eyes??barf Really.....what species of fish eats that hmmm ? (Sorry no pics available...you should be glad eeks ). So after a little sanding, grinding and painting here's a few pictures of the new paint that I and my bud and co-conspirator BassCat Dad laid down:

Really digging this craw pattern..Do you know how hard it is to do this?flehan

Good fishing CWorthy.. texas

thanks bois. it was a lot of fun working on the tiny tail spinner. so little area to work with. took a little while to figure out what i wanted to do. once i decided not to mess with the spinner blade the craw pattern seemed like the way to go. i told cw it was really a "one off" because it was all done freehand...no stencils on that little guy. the bigger bait was a pattern i had done before that he liked and i was only too happy to do one for him.
i love the effect you got using the silver glitter paint. it adds a nice touch of realism to the bait.

Hope you don't mind me posting your work....its just too good not to share with the TFF folks.
FYI: that craw pattern was done on a lure less than 1.5 inches in length....outstanding work BC.

I'm not sayin nuthin........ cept

Thank you guys for accepting some really involved challenges and producing some of the most incredible baits. As hard as it is, I won't bring up any more little baits, UNLESS they are absolute fish killers (which I think they will be) and then I would be willing to make an offer you couldn't refuse. smile

I'll be back home by Wednesday and will be working on these little baits, glad to see what the others did so I can do something at the other end of the color spectrum. I'm thinking a chrome gizzard and a citrus bone with matching tail spinner.

I DON'T THINK YOU GUYS HAVE A CLUE............................

I got both Boisarc's and Basscat Dad's lures in today and I don't think you guys have even a little clue
at how good you really are. The pictures are not even close to given justice to how beautiful they really are. Brad, whew, you gotta step it up bud. smile BC, I almost forgot about that special craw you did for me, wow, amazing, and Bo thank you very much for the little extra. You guys already know that these are going to be killer baits. I don't want to just keep going on and on but WOW, thanks guys for some incredible work. flehan flehan

i'm working on a couple new ideas. if they turn out decent i'll send you one. new stuff i haven't tried before. could be great or a complete disaster.
dont forget to send me a pic of the feathered spoon you mentioned before. that's another idea i want to try.
