How much does painting tungsten detract from the sensitivity vs unpainted tungsten? thanks..

Lots of variables involved there; like the line and rod used also. What I do know is we use the unpainted weights in Mexico. Bass like the shinny weight. We will catch 1/3 more bass in a day when using the unpainted weights. I want throw a painted weight. It is just hard to tell now many more you can catch in our lakes because you are only hoping for 5 bites to begin with. Mexico is a wonder place to test anything because of the 100 bass per day catches. It just doesn't take log to find out what works and what doesn't.
Mater of fact I had to change one of my customers T-Rig out this last trip because he was using a Green Pumpkin weight and just wasn't getting the bites the rest of us were. He was fishing the front of the boat so after the change it didn't take him long to catch up.
