Got my first mold this week. Newcomer to this, but first run went pretty smooth. Friend let me use his equipment to pour and paint.

I have been working the swing tail hard this year. My newest find is making bladed jigs. They are very unique and I have had great luck with them. I have weighed 2 tournament fish over 6 on the white and had 1 over 6 this afternoon on the brown bait. When fished with the fluke trailer, they hunt like a good squarebill. I have found when using them as swim jigs, and pitching them as well, the light weight with the living rubber skirts make them glide at a great rate for shallow spawning fish. I went from having very lttle confidence in jigs to having 3 tied on at all times. Average fish size has increased also. I am still testing hooks and as of yet, I am not having issues with any heavy wire hooks, but the thin wire are not fairing as well.

That skip gap hook does a good job of holding plastics.
