I built two new spinner baits for high water with two applications.
-One on the left is for clear water.
-One on the right is for stained water.

Been building a few spinners for my own use....discovered that you really have to know your stuff to build a good one. Everything has to be perfectly balanced in order for one to fish just right. Hats off to Donald....those look really sweet!

I use 20 gauge wire and you can get it at any craft store. Wrap it around twice, twist with a pair of pliers until you get the tightness you want, trim it close, and bend the trimmed end flush with the bait.

I ordered the blanks nickle painted with the eyes already in there.

On the copper wire; I order it from Lure Craft on line. It is .20 gauge in a tube already cut and ready to use. I make two wraps with one end then one wrap with the other end crossing them over then start the twist just by holding both wires where they have crossed and twisting the whole bait about 10 turns then cut off the excess leaving a tag to bend over.

Each time I have tried using pliers to twist the wire it breaks.
