I built two new spinner baits for high water with two applications. -One on the left is for clear water. -One on the right is for stained water.

Been building a few spinners for my own use....discovered that you really have to know your stuff to build a good one. Everything has to be perfectly balanced in order for one to fish just right. Hats off to Donald....those look really sweet!

This is what the baits are made of and may be of some help to you guys that are building your own. I will be glad to help if you have questions.
On The Left: -1/2 oz. with extended Gama. hook shank in 4.0. -Nickle Plated/Hologram diamond Dusted Head with Wild Shiner Eyes. -Small blade in Indiana Gold/Red Diamond Dusted. -Large Blade in Colorado White/Hologram Diamond Dusted. -Skirt in Living Rubber, Minnow Scented and hand tied with Copper Wire. -Skirt is white/blue/chartu. with black stripes -Stanley Pro Trailer in White Glitter.

Wondering what size copper wire you use to tie skirts and where you get the stuff? Great information....thanks Donald I use 20 gauge wire and you can get it at any craft store. Wrap it around twice, twist with a pair of pliers until you get the tightness you want, trim it close, and bend the trimmed end flush with the bait.

I ordered the blanks nickle painted with the eyes already in there.
On the copper wire; I order it from Lure Craft on line. It is .20 gauge in a tube already cut and ready to use. I make two wraps with one end then one wrap with the other end crossing them over then start the twist just by holding both wires where they have crossed and twisting the whole bait about 10 turns then cut off the excess leaving a tag to bend over.
Each time I have tried using pliers to twist the wire it breaks.
