Headed to Buchanan nxt wknd. Gonna fish for stripers with a guide but taking the boat. How are the whites? They schooling or easy to mark? Just wanna have a little extra fun with the 2 kiddos we are taking

I was there today mapping some spots for largemouth and marked tons of whites with baitballs near the dam. I didn't target them, but if I would have had time to go after them, woulda done well. Good luck.

One 10-pounder is better than ten 1-pounders; but 100 1-pounders is ok too!

Whites have been coming up down by the damn. Around shaw island is usually good this time of yr with whites schooling. I don't fish for whites but they are usually pretty easy to catch.

Ask Jackie or Graham. They will know. But usually the humps and points around shaw in 20-30 ft seem to always have whites.
