Live bait is beginning to displace the dead stick , nice ketch ! We did catch some today using swimbaits both in shallow and deep water. The birds didn’t lie once this weekend. I went back to bait this week. It made a huge difference in the size and numbers of fish.

Randy what area where you fishing? I fished the pump station this weekend and caught them downrigging. Our biggest was 9 lbs, the rest were between 5-8 lbs.

From north DD South. Just can’t make the stripers bite North.
Crappie have been great north but not stripers.
