Got on the water at 12.30 and fished until 5.30. North wind barely blowing. Water temp was 63 degrees. I thought before I got to the lake that I would do some dead sticking but that water temp is still too high. I fished shallow all afternoon in 3ft of water or less. Caught 19 sandies all about 14 inch, not huge ones but decent fish. Caught 7 Hybrids 2 that were overs 2 that were barely under and 3 short ones. Not a huge afternoon but it was nice to be out. I saw Keith and Frank loading the boat and run into Jeff just as it was getting dark.

I was thinking Lavon Friday afternoon but this post is making think Hubbard. I have given up on Hubbard that past 2 years and have been itching to start fishing it again. I have yet to get on Hubbard in the Bay Champ
