Had trips Monday thru Saturday and Adam had three outings this week. Caught fish till we were tired most days, kept an ice chest full for most folks, did a lot of Catch and Release and everyone went home with plenty for the Fish Fry. Every morning we had an hour or so of Top Water off the Flats with smaller Whites and Hybrids mixed in with a few larger fish. After this played out, we found the Magnum Sandies off Points and Humps in 20'-30' FOW. Couple of days we found even larger fish suspended in 35' plus water and would reel RSR Slabs up thru them slowly and they would nail it! We have an open July Weekday or two we'd love to fill and lots of August Weekdays and Saturdays still open. Call us and come experience a day on the Lake with almost no one else around. Started this week off on a GREAT note as we had both boats out each day and managed easy limits with all our fish coming on Topwater Schools on the Main Lake. Check out the areas from the Dam to the Flats to Fisherman's Point in the 50'FOW. Only a few boats were out and everyone knew how to "Work a School of Top Water Whites"! Caught about as many 15" Hybrids as we did Sandies and managed several Keeper Hybrids each trip. We're booking August Weekdays and even still have a couple of Saturdays with a boat open. Thanks Guys! What a difference a day makes as 100% of our fish on Monday & Tuesday came from Schooling Top Water fish. Today, we had 4 from Top Water, maybe 10 minutes of Schooling and finally went up the Creek and fished Points/Ridges to get our limit of fish. Good news is that the fish today were really quality Whites. Suspended and tough to get to bite, but you take what you can get in July & August! Here's a Pic from today....Still trying to fill July 25th if anyone is interested. Lots of August openings.

We will end this thread with a post about what happened on Thursday thru Saturday at RC and as always "Tell It Like It Is"! After Extremely Easy Limits on Monday & Tuesday all on Topwater Fish, a tougher Wednesday but still a 50 fish limit on Slabs, Thursday & Friday arrived and made Adam and I VERY HUMBLE. Thursday's two boat family trip with some small kiddos and grandparents resulted in 14 fish total, and my Friday trip with another Grandparents/Kiddos trip wasn't much better with 19 fish. We did manage some nice Hybrids and larger Whites on Friday, but the action was so slowwww. Saturday got a little easier as we had both boats out and managed nice boxes of fish, but still no limiting out! Summertime can be like this as you go through High Pressure Systems that turn fish off, Thermoclines and just plain old heat that seems to make it tough on some days. We gave our Customers the option to cancel on Friday & Saturday but all wanted to fish, and actually had a great time when it was all said and done. Enough fish for a Fish Fry, got the Kids off the Computer and Outside and had a nice AM on the water! Here's a few Pics from the end of the week:

Saturday was very tough for us. We could find the fish, they just didn't want to participate.. Ended up with about 10 nice sandbass and a 17" hybrid. Hybrid released of course. Just makes me want to go back and try again!

Sarurday was very tough at RC. The fish were very picky. Very slow on Slabs and Mepps. Turned to the Old Hell Pet and ended up with a 4 man limit by lunch. But that was all they would hit consistently.
