It's gotten quiet, I know people are fishing the river. How y'all been doing?

Was slow yesterday morning. Started picking up in the afternoon. Lots of boats and boat traffic. They are there however and I am sure some one hammered them if you found the spot. Live bait folks seemed to be doing best. Expecting big rain which may change things for a while. Water was higher from the previous rain and a little more stained than the normal dirty look.

well since ya asked, my son & I went out with Jane from River Ridge Guide Svc & caught our limits in about 3 hrs, our big fish was 2 lb 14 oz, we also had a 2 -11 . It was a great trip with great people, Jane is an excellent guide & just a very nice person, I am so happy I made this trip after years of hearing about Sabine River WhiteBass

Excellent, our group is heading out there for our annual 4 day trip this coming Thursday and I am living vicariously through those of you who have been until I leave.

Curious to see what this rain will do to the river.

Thanks for the report, I was there Friday and Saturday, and it was super slow, except for the bait fishermen using crawfish
