Had Hector Rangle and his boys out for a trip today. Caught a few as soon as the trip begin shallow.
Then 3 1/2 hours of looking for fish and nothing. Was checking customers to make sure they had no guns or knives.
Had 15 fish in the box at 11 oclock. In the next 45 minutes turned it into a pretty good trip Ended up with 60.
All fish caught on chartuse and white ole ugly slabs. I applaud Hector and his boys for hanging in there
on a very hot day and very boring while I was looking for fish.
Johnny

I just wonder when it's going to get hot? LOL!
Yesterday was a strange day for sure. No wind, a million pleasure craft and fish moving like indy race cars. My group had a strong finish too but the start was slow to say the least. Way to go man! thumb

Looked for them as well Saturday morning. Nobody home then my trolling motor stopped working around 10am bang ...man with no wind it got hot quick. There was also about 50 boats at west bay for a tournament. Thought I would be the first one there at 6:00am. Boy was I dead wrong.
