Did they really double the price for launching?

Now it's $20?

What is the preferred ramp if i have to load and unload myself, then have a couple folks meet me later?

Y'all staying south of the island for Sandies?

Find clear water or the clearest you can find for the sandies. The lake has been super muddy this past week or so and the fish have been moving fast. If you get bit, stick around for a minute even if you don't show marks at the time. Your screen may change pretty quickly.

^^^^^What he said.I took my 2 grandkids on Tuesday last week and paid $10. Then took them and their dad Saturday. Saw they wanted $20. and ask WTH of the guys in the shack. They said weekends and holidays were $20. because it is now a full service park. What? I just want to launch my boat not use all your other facilities. Still $20. No way in H^&*. Went somewhere else to launch. I don't like to pay $10. but can live with it, $20. no way. bang
Shady Grove park in Azle is open but, you take a chance of something coming up missing or damaged while your out. Westbay is north of there. Don't know how much they charge.

All of the ramps on south end of the lake are 20.00. Shady grove would be
one of the safest ramps . Always lotz of people around and cops come through every 15 minutes.
I wonder if Jobo is thinking about the pelican bay ramp would never lanch there. Shady grove is O.K.
with the lake full but very scarey with lake down a couple to three feet down. Lakeview is 20.00 also. I believe West Bay is still 10.00. But with everybody charging 20.00 would not surprise me if they went up.

Saturday was the first time to launch at Shady Grove in a couple of years. I noticed there weren't a lot of people hanging out like they used to. Someone said Azle PD was trying to clean it up some. So it might not be as bad as it used to be. We didn't even have to wait in line to launch.

Been ripped off at Shady grove. Don't leave anything valuable in your vehicle.

I went to Twin Points 3 weeks ago and was shocked at the $20 fee. So I sent the TRWD a e-mail telling then how I felt and I would not use thier ramp again, nicely of course. Did not expect to hear back from them. Got an e-mail back and they said sorry to lose you business.

Suppose the other marinas put pressure on them to go up to 20.00 since that is what all the marinas
on the south end charge. The other marinas were livid when they first put in twin points and charged
half what all the other marinas charged.
