Some bigger hybrids, sandies and crappie today on Lewsiville. Not as many fish as I have been seeing, but better quality when they bit. Chartruese seem to be the ticket with the water getting stained from the rain. Any more heavy rain will close down more ramps.

We've had really good luck with black slabs when the water was stained on Tawakoni.

The trend continued today on Lewisville. Not only did we catch bigger sandies but bigger crappie as well. Caught well over 100 fish with it being split between sand bass, hybrids and crappie. Cleaned around 20 or so really nice size crappie for Aubrey and his 10 year old son Jackson. Jackson put the smack down on some fish today with the first, biggest and most fish by far. The fishing was really good. Could have worn the sand bass out if we had stayed on them. Plenty of keepers in those fish as well if they had wanted to take some home. Really good last few days on Lewisville. Chartruese was the color today as well. Caught fish on slabs, jigs and minnows.
