Found fish at Merimac Point in 13 to 16 ft. Kept 17 good fish and released around 30 or 40 undersized or right at 10 inch sand bass. No big or undersized hybrids. Caught fish steady at the same spot for about 2 hrs. As stated though , lot's of dinks, but still fun. Several other boats in the area catching fish , but also catching small one's from what I could tell. I was using a gold #4 Mepps and the other boats all looked to be slabbing. A boat close to me was catching fish on a slab almost every cast.

I found fish at Merimac, Spillway Hump, and Damn drop off. I had a whale of a Hybrid break me off at the boat at Spillway Hump. That fish had me excited. Never had to give a Hybrid that much drag. Had her at the boat ready to net and she spun the line into her gill plate and cut it. Would have probably been my personal best. Found a great concentration of big Whites and Small Hybrid at the Dam Drop Off. They hit anything you dropped down. That bite was at around 4:00.

Same. Saturday they bit around 4:00 to 5:00 at Dam Drop off. Caught a few over 22 inches. All hybrids. Did not catch one White.

This morning they were at Key Ranch Drop-off, south edge of Spillway Hump, the Rock Pile and Kevin's Point.

Thanks for the reports gentlemen. I was limited on time and could not make it that far South. Did not want to leave biting fish to find fish , so I just stayed there at Merimac till time to go to the house.
