The answer is simple. More water and lots of cover including the fact that they run to the shallow running water. The smaller hybrids are just now stacking back up in the 14-24" water and I have had to use my old 2007 wp's to find the old hot spots. That was a good save. The big girls are hiding right now and we are catching 22' and under. Can't wait till those girls get out of the shallows and start feeding again. Last month we were catching 12-15 pound females. What a difference a year makes. Check out our lake levels from last year. Oh and watch for logs and floating fire ant mounds on FPH. Yep that' what that is a mound of fire ants. Yikes. Broke them up with the motor turbulence.
