After cancelling everything from Monday thru Thursday due to 30 MPH Winds, we were able to get our Friday and Saturday trips in! Should have left the boat on the trailer on Friday as it was TOUGH! I had 11 Keepers and this beat Adam's total!
Post Front Conditions, Barometer, Bluebird Skies, Light Wind....just take your pick for an excuse. Saturday was much better as Adam found a mid morning huge school of Hybrids and Whites off the Flats. Lots of undersize Hybrids in the school so be careful what you keep. (Game Warden was checking this Weekend). I did have one report of a much better PM bite on Saturday so we'll add the Full Moon to the "Reasons Why!". Caught lots of doubles on RSR Slabs (
www.rsrlures.com ) with a Jig Teaser! Water is still stained, a bit over Pool Level and the Creeks will be flowing for another week or so as the water is being lowered in Navarro Mills and Bardwell. Got to be any day those huge schools of fish come out of the Creeks!
We have Weekday Openings in April and May and the fishing should be VERY GOOD!
