Saturday thehe boat ramp was covered up at Fort Phantom Hill and the nice weather here brought out all the regulars plus many new boaters. Everyone was complaining about how they weren't catching, probably due to the weather change. We fished from 10 till 3 on jet skis then 3-6 on Scott's tri-toon. We caught lots of fish. Scott's Daughter and her friend even started doubling up towards the last. Hummm I really guess it's all about knowing where the fish are. I usually noticed when jet ski fishing in the calm lake day, like Saturday, you can see shad oil on the surface in spots and even smell them when they are feeding. I also saw lots of boats gathering up in the traditional places following each other. They guys in that bunch said they didn't catch anything. Most of the day while on jet skis or the tri-toon we were all alone and catching fish. When the fishing was slow we caught beer. LOL

Some times ya just have to kick back, listen to the music and drive with your feet.

Life is good, especially when you know how to catch fish when others catch zip, lol.
