Now that our lake has water in it, has anyone tried the south end of the lake? Specifically accessing the low water near the seabee park area? Any advice on where to go on the south end to find some sandies in the creeks either by boat or bank. Thanks.

Been there done that. Don't trust your navionics maps on lake levels. Much of what has shown as deeper holes have silted up or filled in. I went all they way up to Seabee and didn't catch any whites. That said I remember when this lake was full in early 2002 and they were catching whites in town. Good luck let us know if you find them.

Tim, I plan on getting out this weekend, rain or shine. I'll post here if I have any luck.

We slaughtered the hybrids last weekend in the spillway area in 14' of water. Still haven't ran into the whites or the sandies. We will be out there Saturday after lunch.

I went after crappie with zero luck. Not sure about hybrids and whites. I'm sure with the water flowing in the spillway that probably turned the fish on
