I fish closer to the lake just about every weekend for crappie and have not caught a white bass yet. I would think of the whites were up the river we would atleast catch one while crappie fishin.

They are running in the hill country, I seen a bunch spawning today had to go down river quite a ways to get to fish that would bite.
