Is there any white bass action on Hickory creek right now? I have a kayak so bank access isn't a problem. Is it worth it?

I cross over the 2499 bridge daily and all I can say is there are no people lining the banks. (which is usually a good indicator of fishing conditions) Today it was VERY muddy. Mind you this is just what I can see from the bridge-the banks could be loaded farther north and I would not be able to see that.
