Hi I was in a field that was flooded yesterday the water was pretty much 2 to 4 feet deep and the sand bags and stripers would have you were jumping and splashing and tasting bait in there I used all the lures I have in the boat in a live bait under a bobber but I couldn't get no bites the reason I know they're stripers in there is because I caught them in a cast net and also seen them in shallow water. is there any possible means of by catching these fish legally I tried to rattle trap and live bait and revolver and nothing worked.

Pencil Popper or swim baits. Just about in swim bait. Chartreuse would be my first color. Check out Moes Tackle.

I would try a surface lure, like a smaller Zara spook or a popper.

Fly rod and a chartreuse and white clousers lighter and allows a much slower presentation to finicky line sides. Deadly when they hit running water for the run for sure!
