Not the greatest action, but good keeper fish to 23 inches. Best action close to the dam. Pictured is one of my sons with his limit.

Thanks! Whitney numbers of fish are excellent. PK action is good as well. Have openings if interested. Everybody is going to Tawakoni or Cedar Creek.

I was told that will look at opening the Corps parks on the 28th. I was told that the roads have to dry for 14 days after the water level gets close to normal. I understand Kimball Bend is closed for road repairs and may not be open until next spring. There are several private marinas where you can launch.

Fishing on Granbury has been good. The best action is now moving upstream from Indian Harbor to Hunter park. Most days the action is good. Fish are moving upstream. Look for birds that are not working cormorants. The lower end by the dam is more stained than the rest of the lake (which is opposite of what is normal).

Considering how much water Pk was releasing, there might be some trout in Granbury if they survived the striper gauntlet to get there. Brazos was almost to the bridge when I crossed earlier this week.

Good to hear you are catching some fish at PK.

Mike... what is your opinion on ganbury water col;or today ? here at my place it seems to be going to gold rather than stained. Also some foam showing on point.

Have not seen any golden alga. the water is moving too much for the bloom to take hold in my opinion. I am not an expert. If you see any dead or dying fish please report!

Huge releases from PK has restained the lake. Hopefully everything will settle out on Granbury and PK shortly.
