I got a chance to spent some much needed quality time with my son. He recently got married so he doesn't get out much... We started Saturday around noon and caught 33 sand bass before going to dinner at The Jalapeño Tree. Got up early Sunday morning to set out some brush piles we made and bait jug lines before hitting the sand bass again. Finished the day with our limit in sand bass and also caught a couple of Hybrids. The biggest was about 25". Will have to add photos when I get em.

We didn't catch a lot of fish in any one location. The key was to try a spot and when it stopped producing, we would move to another. Fished Spillway hump, Spillway point, Merimac point, and one or two more. Set out jugs baited with perch but didn't catch anything.

Nice catch! Watch those small one's to make sure they are not hybrids. There are a ton of yearling's in the lake right now.

I'm also finding many undersized hybrids. I hope people will be careful with their identification.
