Well, we got a late start this morning. The guy I took out today forgot to get a fishing license. So it was nearly 8:00 before we got to our first spot and put lines in. Marked fish in 24 fow and deeper. Had 3 sandbass in just a little bit. Then little channel cat moved in. We moved around some and couldn't find any hybrids shallower then 30 fow, just off the bottom. Decided to troll some Ronrigs with the 1 hr. or so he had left. Caught a double on the Transformer, and a single on the Ronrig at the same time. We had a couple of hard hits, but no hookup. Then I let the Ronrig sink a little too far while making a turn. While trying to get it loose, the braid broke off. The hybrids were nice 19" to 21". They had moved out some in the last couple of days. About 250 ft. from where I caught them Friday. Sandbass were actually fairly decent also. Wish we would have had more time.

Good report, with more time I bet you would have had a lot of fish. I would hate to lose a Ron Rig, I let mine hit bottom Saturday when turning and luckily I didn't hang up. They definitely have a learning curve to them and I'm still in it.
