I hear a report of someone catching a Red every now and then. Not sure how true those reports are though. The fish kills of several years ago killed most of the game fish in the lake. From what I have been told TP&W has no plans to restock the lake any time soon. I know people catch some eater size catfish in the lake still. Other than that I think its pretty much a waste of time to go down there unless you enjoy sitting around and watching the waves hit the shore.

A guy I work with (at Big Brown Plant on Lake Fairfield) caught 3 Friday night, the biggest being 33"... Said he had 1 bigger break him off. So there's still a few left I guess, been thinking about giving it a try myself.

I've talked with several people that have gone down there and caught plenty. Talked to a friend about 3 weeks ago that rode his motorcycle down there just out riding one day and he told me there were people catching reds off the bank and lots of them.
