 PK Limits by 7:30!!

PK limits were easy this am (two limits). Had to go see if the lake settled out and it has some. Ran out of bait by 7:30 but continued to catch on slabs. Pictured is my wife. Stayed until after noon so she could get some sun  . Saw Jason Ensign and he reported great fishing as well.

Well it must require live shad. I fished hard all day yesterday with lures and finally got ONE fish.
Different game now with murky high water for sure.

I had a good day trolling down by the dam had 12 keepers in 2 hours all released

Different game now with murky high water for sure. Govenors Cove was about the same. We managed 2 fish. One off a perch and the other off a shad.

It was fun.. The hard part was catching bait. That was easier later in the day. We caught a 2 person limit-largest was 11lbs--8 of the fish were over 8lbs. Good seeing you on the lake. I didn't think I was going to get my boat out of the water. The guy with the jet ski put his trailer in the water trying to unload the jet ski then started reading the manual

The hard part was catching bait. No joke. My son and I tried for over an hour in scenic point with no luck. finally found a few near the dam. We did catch several perch which we kept The two fish we caught, one was on a shad the other was on a perch.

Went out to day pk had shad and perch fished the dam points covers tough morning round two later today

Caught that one little fish in Goverors cove.
Lake is getting clearer. I can tell by the color of the rocks under water. As the lake clears fishing will improve for those of us not fishing with live shad.
