How's the whites been on the lake lately. Just settled in to th campsite and a little lost on where to find them. Any tips? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Been tough the last few mornings but eaked out a box of fish each day on slabs on Main Lake Points, Pelican Island, and Roadbeds. Caught many of our fish this AM in 12'-15' of water. The PM bite off the Windsock Point might be a place to look this evening. I don't do afternoon trips this time of year so not much help. The live bait fishermen have done well lately on Hybrids in the early AM.
The fish are on the move as you will locate a school and they're gone in a matter minutes. No top water yet but any day now hopefully. If you can use your electronics you're in luck. If not, check out the boat shows and pick up a fish or two.
Good Luck!

Thanks buddy. Went over to pelican island today but didn't do any good. Windy out there. Tried for a few catfish around a few trees and caught a couple. Nothing special though. Gonna get up early and see if we can catch a load of catfish then try and catch some sandies. Anybody else out on the lake this weekend, were in a black and white nitro bass boat, say hi.
