My company (based in Houston) wants to put together a fishing trip/weekend for 40-50 people. Being the resident tourney guy, my boss has asked me to look into it. they would like to do freshwater.. I am thinking a white/hybrid/striper type trip.. timing would be late may/early june.. my delima is I cannot think of a lodge or camp within a couple of hours of Houston that can handle 40-50 people??? any advise? I know we can go saltwater, but they are leaning fresh first....

Richland Chambers and Fisherman's Point Marina would be ideal except you're a bit late to plan a May or early June trip. Check out the Marina's link on our website @ www.gonefishin.biz . They have a Lodge and nine cabins but most Fridays and Saturdays from now thru Summer would be booked. Also you'd need around 8 to 10 Guides for a group your size. This would be doable on a Weekday for some Guides but any long tenure Guide would be booked on Weekends thru June or July at this point. We fish with a lot of Houston folks as RC is about 2 1/2 hours North of your city. Keep us in mind for a Fall or future trip and get in on some great White Bass and Hybrid action. Also, listen to our Fishing Reports on Sports Talk 610 AM and the Outdoor Show Thursday thru Sunday in Houston. Good Luck!

I would call Chris Richardson at lake Livingston adventures. They are catching limits every time out. First class operation. He may be able to round up some other guys to help as he currently runs 2 large boats.
